AVKO Mining began in 1993 as an airleg mining contractor based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Since then, AVKO has grown considerably and is now able to offer a wide range of services to both the mining and civil industries including: Underground Development, Shaft Sinking, Mechanical and Airleg Mining, Machinery Hire, Civil Drill and Blast, Alimak Raise Mining, Airleg and Shift Supervisor Labour Hire. In particular, within the Mining Industry AVKO specialise in shaft and winze sinking, bulk sample excavations, rise mining, ground support, lateral development and stoping.
